Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger
written in C++. It is written with portability in mind, with builds
actively maintained for Windows, Linux and OS X. Citra only emulates a
subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is generally only useful for
running/debugging homebrew applications. At this time, Citra is even
able to boot several commercial games! Most of these do not run to a
playable state, but we are working every day to advance the project
forward.

JBIG-KIT implements a highly effective data compression algorithm for
bi-level high-resolution images such as fax pages or scanned documents.

This is a portable library of compression and decompression functions
with a documented interface that can be included into your image or
document processing software. Also provided are ready-to-use compression
and decompression programs with a simple command line interface (similar
to the converters found in Jef Poskanzer's PBM conversion package).

JBIG-KIT implements the specification

International Standard ISO/IEC 11544:1993 and ITU-T Recommendation
T.82(1993), "Information technology - Coded representation of picture
and audio information - progressive bi-level image compression",
,

which is commonly referred to as the "JBIG standard". JBIG (Joint
Bi-level Image experts Group) is the committee which developed this
international standard for the lossless compression of images using
arithmetic coding. Like the well-known compression algorithms JPEG and
MPEG, also JBIG has been developed and published by the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International
Telecommunication Union (ITU) (see also and

VeraCrypt is a free open source disk encryption software for Windows, Mac OSX,
FreeBSD and Linux. Brought to you by IDRIX (https://www.idrix.fr) and based on
TrueCrypt 7.1a.

VeraCrypt main features:

- Creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and mounts it as a real disk.
- Encrypts an entire partition or storage device such as USB flash drive or
hard drive.
- Encrypts a partition or drive where Windows is installed (pre-boot
authentication).
- Encryption is automatic, real-time(on-the-fly) and transparent.
- Parallelization and pipelining allow data to be read and written as fast as
if the drive was not encrypted.
- Encryption can be hardware-accelerated on modern processors.
- Provides plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the
password: Hidden volume (steganography) and hidden operating system.
- More information about the features of VeraCrypt may be found in the
documentation

PR: 235724
Approved by: zi (maintainer), matthew (mentor, implicit)
Snort is a libpcap-based packet sniffer/logger which can be used as a
lightweight network intrusion detection system. It features rules based logging
and can perform content searching/matching in addition to being used to detect
a variety of other attacks and probes, such as buffer overflows, stealth port
scans, CGI attacks, SMB probes, and much more. Snort has a real-time alerting
capability, with alerts being sent to syslog, a separate "alert" file, or even
to a Windows computer via Samba.

Packets are logged in their decoded form to directories which are generated
based upon the IP address of the remote peer. This allows Snort to be used as
a sort of "poor man's intrusion detection system" if you specify what traffic
you want to record and what to let through.

For instance, I use it to record traffic of interest to the six computers in
my office at work while I'm away on travel or gone for the weekend. It's
also nice for debugging network code since it shows you most of the Important
Stuff(TM) about your packets (as I see it anyway). The code is pretty easy
to modify to provide more complete packet decoding, so feel free to make
suggestions.

Fix mistake in previous commit about postgres username
PostgreSQL is a sophisticated Object-Relational DBMS, supporting
almost all SQL constructs, including subselects, transactions, and
user-defined types and functions. It is the most advanced open-source
database available anywhere. Commercial Support is also available.

The original Postgres code was the effort of many graduate students,
undergraduate students, and staff programmers working under the direction of
Professor Michael Stonebraker at the University of California, Berkeley. In
1995, Andrew Yu and Jolly Chen took on the task of converting the DBMS query
language to SQL and created a new database system which came to known as
Postgres95. Many others contributed to the porting, testing, debugging and
enhancement of the Postgres95 code. As the code improved, and 1995 faded into
memory, PostgreSQL was born.

PostgreSQL development is presently being performed by a team of Internet
developers who are now responsible for all current and future development. The
development team coordinator is Marc G. Fournier (scrappy@PostgreSQL.ORG).
Support is available from the PostgreSQL developer/user community through the
support mailing list (questions@PostgreSQL.ORG).

PostgreSQL is free and the complete source is available.

msmtp -- An SMTP client

msmtp is an SMTP client that can be used as an "SMTP plugin" for Mutt and
probably other MUAs (mail user agents). It forwards mails to an SMTP server
(for example at a free mail provider) which does the delivery.
To use this program, create a configuration file with your mail account(s) and
tell your MUA to call msmtp instead of /usr/sbin/sendmail.

Features include:

* SMTP AUTH methods PLAIN, LOGIN and CRAM-MD5
(and DIGEST-MD5 and NTLM when compiled with GSASL support)
* TLS encrypted connections
(including server certificate verification and the possibility to send
a client certificate)
* DSN (Delivery Status Notification) support
* IPv6 support (on systems that support it)
* support for multiple accounts
* sendmail compatible exit codes (which most MUAs understand).

Log:
The PostgreSQL Global Development Group has released an update to all
supported versions of our database system, including 11.2, 10.7, 9.6.12,
9.5.16, and 9.4.21. This release changes the behavior in how PostgreSQL
interfaces with `fsync()` and includes fixes for partitioning and over
70 other bugs that were reported over the past three months.

Users should plan to apply this update at the next scheduled downtime.

FreeBSD port adds OPTIONS knob to support LLVM JIT. [1]

Highlight: Change in behavior with fsync()
------------------------------------------

When available in an operating system and enabled in the configuration
file (which it is by default), PostgreSQL uses the kernel function
`fsync()` to help ensure that data is written to a disk. In some
operating systems that provide `fsync()`, when the kernel is unable to
write out the data, it returns a failure and flushes the data that was
supposed to be written from its data buffers.

This flushing operation has an unfortunate side-effect for PostgreSQL:
if PostgreSQL tries again to write the data to disk by again calling
`fsync()`, `fsync()` will report back that it succeeded, but the data
that PostgreSQL believed to be saved to the disk would not actually be
written. This presents a possible data corruption scenario.

This update modifies how PostgreSQL handles a `fsync()` failure:
PostgreSQL will no longer retry calling `fsync()` but instead will
panic. In this case, PostgreSQL can then replay the data from the
write-ahead log (WAL) to help ensure the data is written. While this may
appear to be a suboptimal solution, there are presently few alternatives
and, based on reports, the problem case occurs extremely rarely.

A new server parameter `data_sync_retry` has been added to manage this
behavior. If you are certain that your kernel does not discard dirty
data buffers in such scenarios, you can set `data_sync_retry` to `on` to
restore the old behavior.

Update to 0.126

Changes: https://metacpan.org/changes/distribution/Astro-SpaceTrack
This package accesses the Space-Track web site,
http://www.space-track.org, and retrieves orbital data from this site.
You must register and get a username and password before you can make
use of this package, and you must abide by the site's restrictions,
which include not making the data available to a third party.

In addition, the celestrak method queries http://celestrak.com/ for a
named data set, and then queries http://www.space-track.org/ for the
orbital elements of the objects in the data set.

Beginning with version 0.017, there is provision for retrieval of
historical data.

Nothing is exported by default, but the shell method/subroutine can be
exported if you so desire.

Most methods return an HTTP::Response object. See the individual
method document for details. Methods which return orbital data on
success add a 'Pragma: spacetrack-type = orbit' header to the
HTTP::Response object if the request succeeds.

module), and a command-line script (installed as nova). Each implements the
entire OpenStack Nova API.

You'll need credentials for an OpenStack cloud that implements the Compute API,
such as TryStack, HP, or Rackspace, in order to use the nova client.

RecDescent incrementally generates top-down recursive-descent text
parsers from simple yacc-like grammar specifications. It provides:

* Regular expressions or literal strings as terminals (tokens)
* Multiple (non-contiguous) productions for any rule
* Repeated, optional and alternate subrules within productions
* Late-bound (run-time dispatched) subrules
* Full access to Perl within actions specified as part of the grammar
* Simple automated error reporting during generation and parsing
* The ability to commit to, uncommit to, or reject particular
productions during a parse
* Incremental extension of the parsing grammar (even during a parse)
* The ability to retrieve the generated parsing code.

This module wraps most methods of most Xapian classes. The missing classes and
methods should be added in the future. It also provides a simplified, more
'perlish' interface - as demonstrated above.

The Xapian library is evolving very quickly at the time of writing, hence any
documentation placed here would be likely to become out of date quite rapidly,
and I do not have the patience to write some which could rapidly become
redundant.

PyHamcrest is a framework for writing matcher objects, allowing you
to declaratively define "match" rules. There are a number of
situations where matchers are invaluable, such as UI validation, or
data filtering, but it is in the area of writing flexible tests that
matchers are most commonly used. This tutorial shows you how to use
PyHamcrest for unit testing.

When writing tests it is sometimes difficult to get the balance right
between overspecifying the test (and making it brittle to changes),
and not specifying enough (making the test less valuable since it
continues to pass even when the thing being tested is broken). Having
a tool that allows you to pick out precisely the aspect under test
and describe the values it should have, to a controlled level of
precision, helps greatly in writing tests that are "just right." Such
tests fail when the behavior of the aspect under test deviates from
the expected behavior, yet continue to pass when minor, unrelated
changes to the behaviour are made.
