head/multimedia/gstreamer1-plugins-v4l2/Makefile
Log:
Actually allow the patchfile committed in r497171 to take effect, to
fix the build on GCC-based architectures.

The failure was not detected during my own testing due to a stale copy
of the same patchfile in the masterport (not committed to svn). The
masterport apparently was able to build even with the patch in the wrong
location.

MFH to be determined.

Log:
print/py-reportlab: Update version 3.5.18=>3.5.19
ReportLab is a software library that lets you directly create
documents in Adobe's Portabe Document Format (PDF) using the Python
programming language.

The ReportLab library directly creates PDF based on your graphics
commands. There are no intervening steps. Your applications can
generate reports extremely fast - sometimes orders of magnitude
faster than traditional report-writing tools.

The ReportLab library is expected to be useful in at least the
following contexts:

- Dynamic PDF generation on the web
- High-volume corporate reporting and database publishing
- An embeddable print engine for other applications, including
a 'report language' so that users can customize their own reports.
- A 'build system' for complex documents with charts, tables
and text such as management accounts, statistical reports and
scientific papers
- Going from XML to PDF in one step!

Stapler is a pure Python alternative to PDFtk, a tool for manipulating PDF
documents from the command line. Like pdftk, stapler is a command-line tool.

With the select command, you can cherry-pick pages from pdfs and concatenate
them into a new pdf file.

The delete command works almost exactly the same as select, but inverse.
It uses the pages and ranges which you didn't specify.

The split command splits the specified pdf files into their single pages and
writes each page into it's own pdf file.

With the zip command, you can cherry-pick pages from pdfs (like select).
The pages from each pdf are merged together in an interleaving manner.
This can be used to collate a pdf with odd pages and a pdf with even pages
into a single file.

The info command shows information on the metadata stored inside a PDF file.

sshfp generates DNS SSHFP records from SSH public keys. sshfp can take public
keys from a knownhosts file or from scanning the host's sshd daemon. The ssh
client can use these SSHFP records if you set "VerifyHostKeyDNS yes" in the file
/etc/ssh/ssh_config.

New port: devel/cfr: Class File Reader (CFR) Java decompiler

CFR will decompile modern Java features - up to and including much of Java
9, 10, 12 and beyond, but is written entirely in Java 6, so will work
anywhere!

It'll even make a decent go of turning class files from other JVM langauges
(like Kotlin) back into Java!

To use, simply run the specific version jar, with the class name(s) you
want to decompile (either as a path to a class file, or as a fully
qualified classname on your classpath).

Alternately, to decompile an entire jar, simply provide the jar path,
and if you want to emit files (which you probably do!)
add --outputdir /tmp/putithere.

Log:
math/mppp: Update 0.13 -> 0.14

Reported by: portscout
mp++ is a C++11 library for multiprecision arithmetic, currently supporting
arbitrary-precision integers, rationals and floats, and quadruple-precision
floats.

Based on well-known libraries such as GMP, MPFR, and others, mp++ was initially
conceived as a GMP wrapper with a special focus on performance with small
operands. In particular, a small buffer optimisation and custom implementations
of basic mathematical primitives are instrumental in achieving a performance
increase, with respect to GMP and other integer multiprecision libraries, which
can be substantial (see the benchmarks section of the documentation). The price
to pay is a small overhead when operating on large integers.

Eventually, a multiprecision rational class and two multiprecision
floating-point classes were added, and today a secondary objective of mp++ is to
provide a modern, consistent and unified C++ interface to several lower-level
multiprecision libraries.

head/dns/amass/Makefile
head/dns/amass/distinfo
Log:
dns/amass: Update 2.9.4 -> 2.9.9

Reported by: portscout
The OWASP Amass project is focused on DNS enumeration and network infrastructure
mapping techniques. These techniques include: obtaining subdomain names by
scraping web pages, accessing web APIs, recursive brute forcing, crawling web
archives, permuting/altering names, reverse DNS sweeping, and querying ASNs and
netblocks associated with IP addresses. The information collected during an
enumeration is used to build a network map of an organization's presence on the
Internet.

Amass reaches out to over 30 passive data sources to learn about the DNS
namespace of a target domain. By default, Amass validates all the names by
performing DNS queries across a pool of resolver servers, which spreads out the
activity generated by the enumeration. For all IP addresses collected during
this process, Amass queries for associated netblocks and ASNs. As additional
data sources become available to provide visibility of the Internet,
implementations can quickly be developed within Amass due to the simple
interfaces worked into the design.

Mk/Uses/cargo.mk: Push lib dependencies back down into ports

Some crates are optional via Cargo features or are only used during
tests, however the framework has no way to discriminate between
test or run dependencies using just CARGO_CRATES leading to more
run dependencies than necessary for some packages. With more ported
Rust applications it's time to let individual ports make that
decision now.

The environmental setup to use dependencies from ports instead of
bundled ones and implied build dependencies (cmake, gmake, pkgconf)
are left in place for now.

Assign cargo.mk to rust@ while here.

IPython is a free software project which tries to:

1. Provide an interactive shell superior to Python's
default. IPython has many features for object introspection,
system shell access, and its own special command system for
adding functionality when working interactively. It tries to be
a very efficient environment both for Python code development
and for exploration of problems using Python objects (in
situations like data analysis).

2. Serve as an embeddable, ready to use interpreter for your own
programs. IPython can be started with a single call from inside
another program, providing access to the current namespace. This
can be very useful both for debugging purposes and for
situations where a blend of batch-processing and interactive
exploration are needed.

3. Offer a flexible framework which can be used as the base
environment for other systems with Python as the underlying
language. Specifically scientific environments like Mathematica,
IDL and Mathcad inspired its design, but similar ideas can be
useful in many fields.

prompt_toolkit is a library for building powerful interactive command lines in
Python. It ships with a nice interactive Python shell (called ptpython) built
on top of the library.

prompt_toolkit could be a replacement for readline, but it can be much more

Rinci is a set of extensible, language-neutral metadata specifications for your
code (functions/methods, variables, packages, classes, and so on). It allows
various helper tools, from code generator to web middleware to documentation
generator to other protocols, to act on your code, making your life easier as a
programmer. Rinci also allows better interoperability between programming
languages. It is geared towards dynamic scripting languages like Perl, Python,
Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, but is not limited to those languages.

kernel while keeping complete control over the actions the process is
allowed to perform.
